Two weeks of Thanksgiving, but I think this the best of your giving thanks!

I love this, Richard! Funny, original and deep. I like it that you are still building on being thankful after last week and the week before. After "You'd be so nice to come home to" now "Body and Soul."

Thanks, Olivier! Funny, I was thinking of Ben Webster because of piece in NY Times recently about the famous 1958 Great Day in Harlem photo. As usual, I appreciate your words hugely.

Yes! A humorous, but sincere tribute to a wondrous bit of machinery. Thanks for the reminder to appreciate how the whole shebang has carried us though life.

Just wonderful. A great reminder of what amazing and complex machines our bodies are.

As we age, it's easy to notice the aches and pains that seem to signal that our bodies are letting us down. It's good to take stock of the many ways in which they hold us up, figuratively and literally.

Thank you, Laura. I want to catch up sometime and hear about your world travels, especially Japan.

Too often we take for granted until we lose abilities. This should be at the top of the gratitude list. Thanks for reminding us! Happy Holidays...

What wonderful writing. It made me mindful of my own body and how I need, now more than ever, to honor and take good care of it, as it's done for me for over 70 years. Thanks for the wake up call.
