I’m going to have a cataract operation today. I’ve been having problems with driving at night. And seeing distances. So, a month or so ago, I went and had a thorough eye exam. They said I had cataracts. “Everyone gets them,” the doctor told me. I wonder how many times he says that in a day.
My husband had both eyes done about two months ago, three weeks apart. He breezed through it and is thrilled that ALL he needs now is .5 readers (he used to need trifocals!) Praying this will be the case for you too. Just be prepared to wear sunglasses forevermore. ☺️
A couple of months ago, a dermatologist removed a basal cell carcinoma from my temple. The procedure went well and a biopsy indicated no sign of any other cancer cells. But the interior stitches did not exactly dissolve the way they were supposed to. So up until last week, I had a tiny length of suture poking out just above the surface of my temple. I checked with the doctor if this might pose a problem, and he said no, adding that removal of the foreign matter would require more stitches afterward. So for several weeks, when my forehead itched in that area, I could hear the suture click as I rubbed across it.
Supposedly the most frequently done operation. Very quick, very easy, I thought. Had a choice of seeing far after being nearsighted since 15. Took it and it's been great. Now have reading glasses and computer glasses and a slight distance prescription for sun glasses and golf. Good luck

So, I hope your luck is better, Richard.
Good luck Richard, I had one about ten years ago. Very helpful and no problems. Though I think it may need a touch up now.
Been there, done that. Good luck! For about a week afterward I could see Portugal from the deck of Nina June. Now, three years later, not so much.
